This is a great opportunity to show off your Tae Kwon Do skills and promote your art to other children. Please help pass the word to other students and contact myself or Mr. May if you are able to help.

I am going to begin teaching a Tae Kwon Do class for people over 50, or those recovering from an injury. The class will be in the main school in Ankeny Sundays at 4:00 p.m., starting Sunday October 27.
I anticipate a little slower pace than a regular class, and we will avoid leg squats and other activities that put stress on knees and joints. I will work with each student to maximize your workout while avoiding injury. This should be good for those of us with knee, hip, or back pain.
If this sounds like a class for you, please join me Sunday at 4:00.
Hey, we are back to Sunday forms class every Sunday at 1:00. So, come join me to work on your forms and one steps when you can.
Hope to see you Sunday at 1:00.
Just in case you haven't gotten all the details yet:

I Had a great turn out today. I love it that people take the time to review and make sure they are staying consistent with all of their forms and one steps.
Here is a link to the video Master Gibson did for WHO's workout of the week. He did such a great job of representing all of us in the art of Tae Kwon Do.
So, for the first time ever, Master Jung stopped in to visit our home near Ankeny. Now, we don't get a lot of company and we live in kind of an upheaval 99% of the time, so our place is never tidy and neat. But, knowing Master Jung, it did not even concern me. He is s0 much more then surface appearances! He loved the same things we love about our place.............the great outdoors, the beautiful horses running in the pasture, the lush green vegetation, the huge old oak trees with limbs sprawling in all directions. Of course he had to walk down to the pond in the sopping grass.
Master Jung just has a way of making me feel like enjoying life can be as simple as taking the time to look around us and see great things in people and places close to us.
