The website was a little in flux during the time of this years Break-a-thon so I wanted to official give some mention to it even if it was a month ago.. Martial Arts America tries to do this event every year. It was held on February 7 at Merle Hay Mall, Des Moines, Iowa this year and we take pledges for each board broken to try to raise money for Iowa Foster and Adoptive Parents Association. We always have a great time doing it! As an early post had mentioned, we raised $5000, what you didn't know was that it is $1500 more from 2006.
Hello visitors as well as current students. I would like to welcome you to the new Martial Arts America website. Here you should find all the original content of class locations, instructors, and highlights of events. As well as a whole slew of new features and hopefully a sense of community online as well off.
Please bare with us as well work out all the bugs. More features are yet to come depending on how things go.

Now would be a great time to start our class. We start our two-month session at the beginning of February, April, June, August, October and December.
The students (age 4-7) will be learning their new techniques. At the end of each session, students participate in our regular testing at the main school to show what they have learned. After completing the testing, students are promoted to the next belt color level and learn new techniques.
Once they have reached the Tiger black belt level (or at parent/instructor discretion), they are ready to go on to the regular class which ages 6 on up can attend.
